1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the ÎleBook platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our Service.
2. Bookings and Inquiries
ÎleBook acts as a booking platform for curated Mauritian experiences and watersports. Submitting an inquiry or booking request does not constitute a confirmed reservation until you receive written confirmation from us or from the relevant activity operator. We reserve the right to decline any inquiry at our discretion.
3. Payment
Payments are processed securely via Stripe. For instant bookings, payment is required at the time of booking. For inquiry-based bookings, payment is due once your booking is confirmed. Where a "book now, pay later" option is offered, payment must be completed before the auto-cancellation deadline communicated to you.
4. Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation and refund eligibility depend on the policy attached to each activity at the time of booking. Refundable activities may offer tiered refunds based on how far in advance you cancel; non-refundable activities are not eligible for a refund. Any applicable refund will be returned to the original payment method. We are not liable for cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our control, including weather or operator unavailability.
5. Itineraries
Itineraries generated through our Service are suggestions based on the information you provide. Activity availability, pricing, and scheduling are subject to change. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming all itinerary details before finalising any booking.
6. User Conduct
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when making inquiries or bookings, and to treat operators, staff, and other guests with respect. We may refuse service to anyone who breaches these Terms or engages in unlawful, abusive, or disruptive behaviour.
7. Liability
ÎleBook facilitates bookings but does not directly operate the activities. Participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for following all safety instructions given by the activity operator. We are not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from any activity booked through our platform.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available on this page, and continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
